Acoustic Music Night In Oriental
Next Event Set For Wednesday Sept 15 7pm
September 7, 2004
It got started this summer with the basic idea of getting a bunch of people together to play acoustic instruments. Acoustic music night was born. As many as thirty people have turned out at Pirate Queen Paddling to make a little noise or listen in on those who did.

We’re keeping it going through the fall and winter, on the second Wednesday of the month (this month rainy weather has rescheduled the music to Wed Sept 15). This is a village event...low key. Friendly.

The Acoustic Music Night is at Pirate Queen Paddling on Hodges Street. It will be there again this month, then starting in October and through the winter months....Acoustic Music Night moves indoors to The Bean. Come spring time... we'll move back outdoors to the Pirate Queen porch.

So if you play an acoustic intsrument, don’t be shy. Bring it out to the next Acoustic Music Night Wednesday September 15th at 7 pm. Singers are always welcome too...

Here are some photos from previous Acoustic Nights:

Mikey can play the guitar AND the kazoo

Bob Laverty (guitar) and Norm Czuchra (accordion) proved the two instruments can play together.
