Oriental’s Town Board holds a retreat from 1-5p on Friday January 27 and 10a-2p on Saturday January 28. The sessions will take place at River Dunes’ Harbor Club and they are, as are all town government meetings, open to the public. According to a description from Town Hall, the Board on Friday “will discuss the Council Rules of Procedures, the plans for the Town Hall, goals and objectives for 2012. On Saturday the Board will meet with the chairmen of the other boards and committees, the police department and the recycling coordinator to discuss their goals and objectives.“ It’s at the Harbor Club at River Dunes.
