NORTH CAROLINA MASTERS REGATTA 2005

ORIENTAL DINGHY CLUB

Hello Laser Masters,

The Oriental Dinghy Club will be hosting the ninth annual North Carolina Masters regatta this June. We will be launching from the Wildlife Ramp, a nice concrete ramp with 2 floating docks just north of the Oriental bridge, the grassy area in the same location, and the new small boat launch from a floating dock. We also need to share this ramp with other boats, both power and sail, so tieups are not allowed.  Trailer and car parking will be in the storage facility fenced yard, ½  block east.

Oriental is a small sailing and fishing village with interesting shops, pleasant waterfront walks, and several fine restaurants- a great place to bring a companion or your family. Make your reservations early if you want a room. See the Notice of Race below for the accommodation list.

As usual, we’ll have plenty of Breeze, Beer, and Sat. Pig. Just ask any previous competitor. Plan to attend this year and bring along another sailor. Let’s have another great North Carolina Masters Regatta.
