Wednesday Racing – (This is NOT and ODC event)

2006 Schedule:

It's that time of the year again so in case anyone is interested, boats will sortie from various places and rendezvous at Oriental "1" at 1700 on each Wednesday (weather permitting), for an impromptu race around the government marks.  No need to register, just show up.  I've developed a mailing list and will try to get an email out on Mondays to remind everyone.

The start will be 1700 GPS time.  Hopefully someone, if I'm not there, will blow a warning horn at 1655 and again at the start.  I propose the usual course of which ever is more upwind, Garbacon or Adam's Creek as a weather mark and round the other as a leeward mark and finish at Oriental "1".  The start/finish line going to Adam's Creek will be between O "1" and O "3".  If going to Garbacon, it will be between O "1" and Whitaker Creek "2"  Channel 72 will be used for communications.
