This race will be governed by The
Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008, these racing instructions, and the Notice of
Race.

5. THE
COURSE: The course will be from
Oriental One leaving Adams Creek to Port and Minnesott number 8 to starboard
finishing at Marker 17 leaving that marker to Starboard.
6. START
LINE: The starting line will be

Starboard.
8. THE
START: Races will be started using
rule 26. A white flag may be substituted
for the yellow flag

9. INDIVIDUAL
RECALL: Individual recall flag will
be flown with a single sound signal and lowered when the Premature Starters
have returned to the pre-start side of the line or four minutes, whichever is
earlier. Sail numbers of premature
starters will NOT be hailed. Premature
starters who do not re-start will be scored OCS.
10. GENERAL
RECALL: The flag will be lowered with
one sound signal. A new warning flag for
the recalled fleet will be hoisted one minute later. Subsequent starts will follow normally.
11. TIME
LIMIT: The time limit for each
Division will be six hours after its start. Any yachts not finishing within
that period will be scored DNF.
12. FINISHING: The finish line will between marker 17 (leave to
starboard) and the near shore of the river.
Skippers will mark their own time (synchronized to GPS time)
as the boat passes marker 17 (helmsman at a 90 degree angle to marker
17) for the finish. Contact Bill Arnt with your finish
time.
13. RADIO: The Race Committee will monitor VHF channels 16 and
72.
14. SCORING: The
low point scoring system in appendix A of the rules of racing will apply.
15. PROTESTS: Protests will be heard at
