It is said that the happiest days of boat owners’ lives are when they sell or buy their boats. On Saturday, Ken Brandon watched as his friend Manfred Rott pressure-washed his newly acquired trimaran. Until last week, the F27 trimaran had been Ken’s. Manfred kindly suggested that the years of mildew on the hull may have provided some sunscreening protection to the boat’s finish.
