The sailboat Ariadne at Oriental’s Town Dock late this week generated a bit of talk about her pink hull (and sailcovers). Dennis Woodriff of Charlottesville, VA explained that his wife, an artist, wanted a color found in nature. In that, they succeeded; the hull matches the soft glow some sunsets reflect on water.
