It is proving to be one of those years when tarpon are scarce – just two were caught on Saturday. So far Doug Sulc leads the tournament – he caught the first tarpon at 10:10a Saturday morning. Fishermen are out pursing the hard to catch fish from 7a -3p today – the awards ceremony is 4p at Whittaker Pointe Marina.
