The Mayor has called for a special meeting of the Town Board of Commissioners on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. at the Oriental Town Hall. The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss the possible purchase (offer to purchase) of land. The Board will do this in a closed session. A decision, if one is made, will be announced in open session.

The Stakeholders Committee, the Planning Board, and the Town Board will have a joint meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the Town Hall. The recommendations of the Stakeholders
Committee will be discussed and reviewed.

Martin Luther King Jr Day

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr, Oriental Town Hall will be closed Monday, January 15, 2007.

Trash and Recycling will be collected as usual, Monday, January 15, 2007.

The Oriental Town Hall will be closed on Monday Jan. 1, 2007
