On their first day
out Bernie & Woody made their way from Oriental to Dawson's
Creek. They would take the ferry at Minnesott Beach the following
day.

Camped
at the Casey's in Dawson's Creek, Oriental villager Ken
Brandon visited the man and his mule. A retired engineer,
Brandon often finds creative engineering solutions to
things around the village - and route planning for a mule
trip proved to be no exception. Note both Woody &
Bernie examining the proposed route.

Last
we saw Bernie - departing Dawson's Creek Thursday morning.
